And not necessarily being a businessman, because The Idea of a Man™ is all about you being whatever kind of ‘man’ you want to be. However, being a man who is able to fund the enterprise which is your life, the life you have chosen and which you are intentionally leading with sovereignty and clarity is a life which is likely to require financial literacy in order to fuel the many moving parts to your adventure.
Therefore, learning more about finances and developing your financial acumen, overcoming any hang ups or shadow financial perspectives which may prevent the flow of sufficient even abundant finances in your life is an important practice as we go from Survival to Thrival.
As discussed, Thrival is when you ‘use your mind’ as opposed to your ‘mind playing tricks on you’. It is when the mature, sovereign ‘you’ interrupts the patterns which are set up to enable you to survive the young, vulnerable stages of infancy, childhood and adolescence and replaces those patterns with an intentional programme. A programme we could call – ‘your idea of a man’.
