Story Summary :-
OP (55, F) has given her daughter Danita (23, F) enough breaks in life. Danita is a recent college graduate. Now it is time for her to get a job, but Danita refuses. OP arranges a job interview for Danita, but she blows off the interview to go out partying with her spoiled, rich kid friends. OP decides to cut Danita’s allowance down to $1500 a month, still a more than suitable amount.

Danita throws a temper tantrum and threatens to tell her dad, OP’s ex-husband Hank (55, M). OP grins and tells Danita to go ahead. She turns to Reddit asking for advice and looking to vent about the situation.

In update one, Danita throws an even bigger temper tantrum after her dad Hank tells her to get a job. After a huge argument in which Danita accuses OP of leeching off Hank and selfishly not spending enough on her, OP gets angry and slaps Danita, who cowers off to her bedroom.

In update two, OP gets a visit from the police after Danita calls them saying she feels unsafe and has been abused physically and mentally. The police laugh off the accusation, and OP tells Danita to move out if she doesn’t feel safe.

In update three, Danita is staying with her boyfriend Tyreese. OP is at the mall and sees Danita working at McDonald’s, who breaks down in tears and begs to be allowed to move back in with OP. OP tells Danita this is a hard lesson she must learn about life.

In update four, OP wakes up to a flood of harassing phone calls, texts, and social media messages. She finds out Tyreese has sent his flood of Tiktok followers to harass her. OP reports him for slandering her name and harassing her. Tyreese is arrested, and Danita begs OP to bail him out of jail. OP refuses.

In update five, Danita and a bunch of her rich friends drive to OP’s house and throw eggs all over the property, as well as squirting mustard everywhere and engaging in other acts of vandalism. OP must do the difficult thing and call the police on Danita. Danita and her friends are arrested, and OP says they must learn a valuable lesson about respect.
