I’m Anil, a traveler from Turkey, and this is Episode 3 of my motorcycle journey across Africa.

In this episode, I ride through Uganda, starting from Jinja, near Lake Victoria and the Source of the River Nile, before heading deep into rural Uganda.

Along the way, I pass through African villages, stop near rural African houses, and experience daily local village life — moments that don’t exist in guidebooks.

This journey shows two sides of rural Africa:
– local villagers who welcome me into their homes with kindness
– moments where curiosity turns uncomfortable and safety becomes uncertain

Heavy African rain transforms village roads into red mud, leading to a fall that could have ended the journey — until local people from a nearby village rush to help.

This is not a cinematic Africa.
This is real rural Africa — villages, local houses, fear, warmth, and humanity on the same road.
