Airstream Basecamp Bed Mod

Описание: We have had our 2018 Airstream Basecamp for a little over 2 years. We had seen this bed modification and had wanted to do it, but never found anything where we could follow along to understand it. So, we jumped and did it with some limited information. This shows a good look at the measuring process as well as what each step entailed. The second side isn't covered quite as much, but follows almost an identical measure and cut process.

First, measure the long pillow against the back door, this will give you a good measurement to cut on. Also, you will need to change where the short and long table legs go (you can see where we did this in the video). If I had uploaded all the video, you would have seen 5 to 10 minutes of our confusion as we tried to figure out the measurement along with how to deal with the legs. We used our mitre saw and cut off disc to make the cuts.

We love having the space to sit down while there is still plenty of bed available for naps or even to sleep if we don't feel like making the bed completely for a short stop over.
