Because of the non-stop rain from 7 AM to 11 AM, flooding occurred in Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, particularly in front of the Petron gas station. Some tricycles and motorcycles were stuck in the middle of the flood. This has been a long-standing problem in the area—whenever there is continuous rain or even just 1–2 hours of heavy rainfall, the area becomes flooded.
