Bruno's doubt about Lenin's quotation, i.e. "ethics are the aesthetics of the future", is quite justified. It was the great Russian writer Maxim Gorky who first wrote the phrase in an essay about Anatole France. The original was closer to: "Aesthetics was his ethics—the ethics of the future".
