The actor is unlikely to get your gift, which is fine, but the agents seem to think that letting you KNOW they "destroyed" (their words) the gift is somehow necessary.
Kinda cruel, I think. In my case it was my published 400+ page novel "Olympus or Oblivion" containing 15 Hollywood actors, each with a chapter dedicated to them. Ridiculous, absurd, erotic satire, pure parody but with pathos. I'm very proud of it and the reviews.
Gave each of the "Gods" an inscribed copy addressed to them. Seems like binning it is what the agencies do. I wanted nothing from them except to pass along the gift and allow someone to bin it if they wanted.
Talk about a pedestal...
