Take a closer look at the behind-the-scenes journey of the 36th edition of "Florique", the annual wall magazine presented by the Department of Botany, AV College. This year’s theme, "Invasive Alien Species", addresses one of the most pressing challenges to native biodiversity and ecological balance.
This video documents the thoughtful efforts and quiet dedication of our students — from idea generation and research, to design, artwork, and final presentation. Every moment captured here reflects the sincerity, teamwork, and perseverance that went into creating this edition.
Invasive alien species are non-native organisms that spread rapidly in new environments, often disrupting local ecosystems, threatening native species, and impacting agriculture and human health. Raising awareness about their impact is essential for conservation efforts, and this year’s wall magazine aims to contribute meaningfully to that dialogue.
