Newcomb produces an array of custom wire forms, designed and produced to meet our customers' exact specifications. In this video our production team has decided to have a little fun, and challenge themselves to manufacture complex wire forms that look like soccer players.
Using stainless steel spring wire, this machinery coils a small spring form to create a "ball", then bends and forms the shape to create a player and a stand, allowing the part to sit up-right.
These manufacturing techniques showcase the extensive variety of tooling equipment each Newcomb Spring plant has on-site, which allows us to create extremely complex wire forms and spring quickly, efficiently and to that meet strict order tolerances.
