Interesting story from Steve Wright - Atari was offered the chance to make a game based on Raiders of the Lost Ark 6 months before the movie was finished! It was left to Wright to decide whether or not Atari should license the game. Wright wasn't impressed with the film company's slide presentation, and wasn't familiar with Steven Spielberg (really? Never heard of Jaws? Close Encounters of the Third Kind? No?). After the movie came out and proved to be a huge hit, Wright was never again asked to evaluate movie-based games :)
