Next week we start the build of our funeral flowers installation at The Chelsea Flower Show so here's one more idea for flowers made with that most versatile of floristry the trusty jam jar posy. So many ways to make a great installation with these, and to give them away as presents afterwards.
I've written a bit of a heartfelt piece about funeral flowers and will link to it below as well as to the Farewell Flowers Directory for florists who will work with no floral foam or other plastics when asked.
It feels odd saying 'enjoy!' to a piece about funeral flowers, but if one clip makes the difference to one person's experience then I'll feel I've done my job.
So Enjoy! and Do please share and tell people that we don't have to have plastic based flowers for funerals. You are allowed to ask for locally grown flowers arranged sustainably to celebrate the end of a loved one's life.
