In December 2024, David Jenkins began telling a story on Bluesky.
It was a story set a couple years after the second season of OFMD -- a fanfic, or a record of his ideas, or a season 2.5.
In February 2025, more than a year after the show was cancelled, over a hundred fans came together to begin to create a collaborative animatic of that story.
In June 2025, it was completed.
