Editing Journey:

The Meg dream trailer has history of becoming one of the most successful video in the channel, so I was excited to make The Meg 2 dream trailer. Finding shark clips was not that hard, thanks to the Black Demon film that actually had a Megalodon. Jason Statham has many awesome river scenes from The Mechanic so that fits perfectly since The Meg is about ocean adventures. What makes The Meg different from your average shark film is that the vibe is mix of thriller and fun classic adventure music. So I made sure to bring that same vibe using the The Exorcist trailer music for thriller vibe to begin the trailer.

The plot about bad scientist using Megalodon DNA to create clones was established with the A.I to bring the line for act 1. One element I made sure to add is the giant octopus, since this is one of the things we saw in The Meg 2. “We have to find the lab before they clone more megalodon.” line from Jonas Taylor was done using A.I. Then I made sure to show wording sequence to bring the big plot of 10 Megalodon vs Jason Statham. One last element I included is bringing the famous Chinese actor and giving him some lines of his own, since he was one of the best part of the last film. Overall I believe this dream trailer was well done, thanks to the fresh shark films and the awesome choice of music this was a lot of fun to watch.
