The Clarence is a 4 star hotel that sits along the River Liffey.

The hotel is located in the Temple Bar Neighborhood. It was originally built in 1852 but was bought and refurbished in 1996 by U2 lead singer Bono

We then made our way over from the temple bar area to the Guinness Store and there are a bunch of cool things on our 20 minute walk like the Christ Church Cathedral like you see here.

The church was built sometime after 1028 by a viking king. You are able to check it out and go inside but we didn’t have the time.

The brewery compound is massive but the whole process to get in is really easy and all we did was get a reservation at the Gravity Bar.

The Guinness Storehouse explains the history of beer. The story is told through various interactive exhibition areas including ingredients, brewing, transport, cooperage, advertising, and sponsorship.
The Storehouse covers seven floors surrounding a glass atrium shaped in the form of a pint of Guinness.[5] The ground floor introduces the beer's four ingredients (water, barley, hops, and yeast), and the brewery's founder, Arthur Guinness. Other floors feature the history of Guinness advertising and include an interactive exhibit on responsible drinking.

Guinees was founded in 1759 by Arthur Guinness and is one of the most successful alcohol brands worldwide, brewed in almost 50 countries, and available in over 120Even if you are not a beer drinker, or a Guinness Drinker, we found the experience to be enjoyable.

The main draw for us was one, to say we checked it out, but two, the bar is probably the best place in Dublin to get great view of the city.

Another iconic beverage to drink while in Ireland is Jameson whisky. Introduced in 1780 Jameson is a blended whiskey. When enjoy a fancy cocktail, or two, and decided to take a cocktail making glass while there. We didn’t much more than that as we did all the scotch tastings while in Scotland

The process was awesome and gave us some recipes to use at home.
