Today, replaced by street performers, we can found them in parks and in the street corners of the big cities around the world, taking advantage of the brief intervals, when the traffic lights close, to present themselves.

Having the drivers, who are waiting for the lights exchange, as theirs viewers and not always receptive to the art of the street artists, they have only a few minutes to do their performance and to collect the payment for their work

Theirs work however, is not restricted only to short presentations.
They dedicate many hours during the day to do their training, so they can present, often flawless performances by an extreme sensitivity.

In addition, some of them develop other activities because, not always, the money from the presentations is enough to pay their expenses.

Proud of their work, the street usually serves as a place to become known and also to get new contracts for presentations at festivals and shows.
For even a leap in theirs career, perhaps the possibility of a contract with Cirque du Soleil, whose founder, Guy Laliberte, began his own spitting fire at the corners of Montreal's streets, in the earliest 1980s.
