Caroline Ruggiero Bio:
Caroline is COO of Truly You Hair and Scalp Clinic and is proud to be one of the first practicing Trichologists in Canada. Caroline has an Honours Degree from the University of Toronto (UofT), is a certified Trichologist with the International Association of Trichologists (I.A.T), and a member of the World Trichology Society (WTS). She is also the president of the Canadian Hair Loss Council (CHLC), a non-profit organization that provides information and resources to both hair loss professionals and people experiencing hair loss.

Caroline studied nutrition at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and has achieved certifications from CRLAB (Cesare Ragazzi Laboratories), Laboratoire Nature, and the Italian Academy of Hair Microscopy. As a member of the American Hair Loss Council (AHLC), and regular delegate at the European Hair Research Congress, Caroline aims to maintain strong relations with Dermatologists, Trichologists and Researchers worldwide. Caroline is a recipient of the 2022 Ronald Salinger Award for her contribution to the advancement of trichology worldwide, the 2022 Brilliant Minded Women self - development award ,and Poland/Canada Chamber Excellence Award as Trichologist of the Year in 2019.

Caroline is also the Program Director for the Truly You Academy, as well as the instructor for the Hair Practitioner Certificate Course (HPCC), a Trichology 3-day intensive training accredited by the International Association of Trichologists (IAT).

Caroline is beyond passionate about hair and scalp health. She is on an ongoing quest to find the best possible solutions for hair and scalp disorders for her clients. Caroline’s goal is to educate her clients first and then work directly with them to repair their scalp, restore their hair and replenish their soul.

Krista Leavitt Bio:
Award winning and published Curl Specialist, Krista Leavitt, is on a mission to redefine beauty in the hair industry as she helps people with textured hair celebrate their curls. She offers haircuts and education sessions at her Fredericton, NB salon, online courses for clients and Hair Stylists, an online curly hair product store, virtual 1:1 hair consultations as well as in-person hands-on training for stylists.

Krista is a dedicated military wife and mom of three. She has over 20 years experience as a professional hair stylist. In 2019/2020 she was one of four Featured Stylists for CURL Magazine and served on the Advisory Board and the Stylist Panel.
