Characterizing non-binary French

Описание: How do non-binary Francophones use grammatical gender when they write about themselves? Do they use the new neutral gender markers proposed by non-binary grammars? Or inclusive spellings, that combine the feminine and the masculine? Or do they use a mix of feminine and masculine markers? With Heather Burnett, we attempted to answer these questions by looking at tweets and at comments posted on Reddit and on various French forums. And the answer is... it's complicated!
