This 9 note scale has become my default, 'go-to', scale. Let's build this scale together and hopefully you'll find this one becomes your daily driver as it has become mine!
By taking the basic CAGED system visualisation of the pentatonic scale, we will add notes until we get up to the magic 9 note scale. If you are more confident with your theory, then you could think of this scale as a major scale with the added bebop note and b3rd.
