Step 1 - The first thing we want to do is log in and go into the Hostgator CPanel. Once you are logged in just scroll down until you see the domain section. Once you find the domain section you will see addon domains. Click this to start the process in adding the addon domain in Hostgator. Another way to get to the domains section is to click domains over on the left hand side menu area and it'll take you right to the domains section.

Step 2 - Once we click on addon domain. You will see it says addon domains. Under that you will see a search box where you put in your domain name that you have purchased. When you input your domain name the subdomain search box and document root will auto populate with the correct information that needs to be there.

Step 3 - You will see a box that you can check if you want to create FTP credentials. I advise that you do this. Click that box and you can input your username you want to use and password. Then just click the addon domain button and your all done!
