'Bhedbhav Ho Raha Tha': Sahil's Father Ravindra Wakode Demands Arrest Of Prof Doolla Under SC/ST Act

Описание: In an interview with India Today, Ravindra Wakode, father of deceased IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode, spoke about his son's tragic death by suicide and demanded the arrest of the faculty member involved under the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act. He stated that his son had earlier complained to him about facing caste-based discrimination on campus, saying, 'Bhedbhav ho raha tha, mere ko bola tha.' Wakode questioned the allegations of exam cheating leveled against Sahil and asked authorities to produce full CCTV footage. Accompanied by his advocate, Mr Kamble, the family highlighted student protest videos and past suicide statistics at the premier institute, alleging systemic caste discrimination and negligence by the administration.
