Coffee Sessions #14 Akai MPC Key 37
Are you curious about the new MPC coming (maybe)? I definitely am!
But on the other hand, I am not sure if there will be upgrades justifying a purchase for me. I am very happy with the MPC3 Software and my Key 37.
I chopped up a Rhodes sample from Splice. Bass (Mini D), Synth Pad (OPx-4 + Air Delay Pro) and Synth Lead (Hype + Flex Beat Player) are played on the MPC. For my drums I‘ve used Lo Fly Dirt from MSXII Audio. I love that kind of punch and warm saturation 🫶.
I did the Mixing, Compression and EQ on the MPC. The Output goes through the Roland SP-404 MK II into Ableton Live 12 (with iZotope Ozone 11 on the Master Output.
