Pokémon HeartGold SoulSilver Battle Tower-Battle 150 Loss (why you should never use Stone Edge ever)

Описание: My Garchomp was Choice Banded (meaning I was locked into using only one move) and I was scared of being locked into Outrage and then getting revenge killed by either Latias or Latios 3 (which are both faster than Garchomp and KO it with Ice Beam) or being used as set up fodder by Registeel with Double Team or Curse. I also thought about switching out from Garchomp into Starmie after the first Air Cutter crit, letting it take one Air Cutter (which it will survive barring a crit), and then doing some damage with Ice Beam to Zapdos before dying, but I decided to go against the grain and gamble with hitting on Stone Edge again…

Still, I wasn’t expecting to miss on Stone Edge twice in this battle, but this is why you can’t ever rely on moves in the Battle Tower that have less than 100% accuracy because if it misses even once (twice in my case, plus getting critted by an Air Cutter), it will cost you the battle because I could not afford to lose Garchomp against Zapdos since Starmie and Scizor matchup poorly against it.

I could try the Battle Tower again and possibly get a much higher streak than this, but I’d rather focus my attention towards the other facilities in the Frontier now. For now, I’m done with the Battle Tower and I’m deleting Stone Edge from Garchomp forever..
