Our journey begins at the magnificent Powder Tower, a 15th-century masterpiece that was originally built as a grand coronation gift rather than a defensive structure. From there, we stroll down Celetná, one of the city's oldest trade routes, named after the medieval bread once baked here. We’ll cross the iconic Old Town Square, the soul of Prague since the 12th century, surrounded by Romanesque foundations and Gothic spires. Finally, we emerge into the bustling energy of Wenceslas Square, the administrative heart of the New Town. The Powder Tower is one of Old Town's original 13 city gates, Prague. Its construction began in 1475. The tower was intended to be an attractive entrance into the city instead of a defensive tower. The foundation stone was placed by Vladislav II. The city council gave Vladislav II the tower as a coronation gift. While it was being built, it was called the New Tower. The tower's look was inspired by Peter Parler's work on the Charles Bridge.

03:30 Celetná is a street in the Old Town, Prague, connecting the Old Town Square with the Powder Gate. It is one of Prague's oldest streets and part of the Royal Route. Although, Celetná is a former Prague trade route. The street is named after bread baked in the area during the Middle Ages. It became a part of the Royal Route in the 14th century (The coronation parade).

The Old Town Square is the oldest and most important square in historical Prague. It is surrounded by historical buildings such as the Old Town City Hall with the famous Astronomical Clock, the imposing St. Nicholas Church and Church of Our Lady before Tyn, and many houses and palaces of various architectural styles and colorful history. It has been a center of Prague Old Town since the middle ages when it was a marketplace crossing European merchants' roads. The first houses were built around the Old Town Square in the 12 and 13 centuries. Some present homes still have Romanesque or Gothic foundations, basements, or ground floors. The Old Town City Hall was built in the 14 century, and the Church of Our Lady before Tyn a little later. The Old Town Square became Prague Old Town's economic and political center.

Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí)
This Square is the commercial and administrative centre of the city as well as the site of important social and historical events. Here you'll find cinemas, theatres, banks, hotels, restaurants, dozens of small and large shops, and administrative centres. The Square was created during the founding of the New Town by Charles IV in 1348. Today it is dominated by the National Museum (1885 – 1891) and Josef Václav Myslbek's statue of the national patron St Wenceslas from 1912.
