Just another weird song from my Worn Code Project.
I plan on releasing all of these in an album eventually, when they are all finished.
This song is about the limits of humans, and our mental health, and trying to find a way to stay sane, even if it means becoming a machine.
A man realizing that staying human is what’s killing him, so he doesn’t transcend or heal or get saved. he reconfigures. not into a robot fantasy, but into something colder, narrower, more survivable.
he doesn’t become a machine because he wants to.
he becomes machine-like because it’s the only shape that lets him remain.
it’s not about losing humanity as an idea.
it’s about rationing it.
