In January 2008, 22 dogs rescued from the Michael Vick dogfighting ring arrived at Best Friends Animal Society. Since then we watched this group of dogs transform from victims into heroes. Sadly, in recent years, almost all of these wonderful dogs have passed away due
to age or illness. In January of 2020, Cherry passed away. He was a survivor, spokes-dog, and most importantly, the heartbeat of a family. We will miss you, Cherry.
