The competition celebrates the end of the winter skiing season and coincides with Spring Carnival. In this competition, skiers and snowboarders attempt to jump off a list, land on a man-made pond and attempt to ski over it -- while wearing wacky costumes (one was dressed like a dog, pirate and even a fluorescent orange Bigfoot at the end of the tape, he refused rescue swimmers' aid and swam out of the pond. Very few made it across, and had to be helped out of the water by rescue swimmers. Conditions at the competition were miserable, with rain coming down.
