The soldiers in black established an outpost there, requisitioning food and shelter, imposing the Emperor's law on the survivors. The fields are trampled, the orchards abandoned, and the river—once a symbol of life—now carries the ashes of the burned villages.

Yet beneath the ruins of war, the land of Whiteflower preserves the memory of better days. The whisper of the wind in the apple trees seems to tell the story of a land that refuses to die. It is here that Geralt of Rivia begins one of his journeys, in search of Yennefer, unaware that these peaceful lands are only a prelude to the tumult of the world.
