USB Flash Drive Duplicators [Stand Alone] (330106, 330107, 330118) Part 3
Asynchronous Copying Mode
[INTRO]: In this part of the series, I will explain the Asynchronous copying mode.
[Asynchronous Copying explanation]
Asynchronous Copy can be used when the source drive's data size is the less than 256MB in part number 330107 or 120MB in part numbers 330106 & 330118. Asynchronous Copying will begin immediately after the first target drive has been loaded. You can verify the data size of the source by inserting the source USB flash drive into the source drive port. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Information" menu and press ENT/OK. Navigate to the option "USB Info" and press ENT/OK. The data size of the source drive will be displayed.
[Asynchronous Copy procedure]
To set your USB flash drive duplicator to Asynchronous copy mode, use the arrow keys to navigate to the Setup menu and press the ENT/OK key. Navigate to Asynchronous and press ENT/OK. Use the arrow key to toggle the option to Enable and press ENT/OK. Press ESC to exit the submenu and use the arrow keys to navigate to the Copy menu. Insert your source USB flash drive into the source drive port. Insert your target USB flash drives. Wait a moment for the lights to stop flashing on your drives and the drives to be recognized. Press the ENT/OK key and the copying process will begin. When the copying process is complete, the Copy counter will read 0 and will display a count of how many drives passed or failed. To determine if a specific drive port passed or failed, use your arrow keys to cycle through the specific drive port numbers, starting with #2 (which is target port 1). You will see if each drive has passed or failed the copying process by displaying "PASS!" or "FAILED!" The LED indicator lights on each drive port will display a green light for passed drives and a red light for failed USB flash drives. You may insert a new round of drives to copy without exiting and restarting the copy process in this mode. Simply remove the copied drives and insert the drives that need to be copied. You will see the count of drives that have passed or failed increase as you insert more drives. Press the ESC key when you are finished copying to return to the main menu.
