The problem I’ve always had with it is that it risks injuring your neck and you usually land in the opponent’s guard. While if your shot with proper posture with the head to the outside you can sweep the legs to the side and land in side control.

00:33 Guess the ref didn’t like how fast he stood up. He really wasn’t in danger there. I think he would have been alright if he had stood to try to pass instead of disengaging. I think he should have started one standing and one on the ground.
