A short documentary about the Chinatown/International District community in Seattle. Written and produced by Daniel Patterson for Seattle's Department of Community Development. This video includes interviews with residents who live and work in the Chinatown/International District, as well as footage of the neighborhood and businesses. Produced by the City of Seattle, Department of Community Development in collaboration with the International District Special Review Board (copyright 1984). Originally aired on KING-TV, Channel 5 on November 16, 1984. Narrated by Robert Ito.

Interviewees include Wai Eng (business owner/developer); Sue Taoka (Planning and Land Use, INTER*IM); Leo Aliwanagl; Robert Kovalenko (architect); David Moseley; Dr. Henry Chin, D.D.S.; Irene Woo (community garden coordinator); Kay Yamaguchi (Manager, North Coast Importing); Dr. Allen Au, M.D.; Tomio Moriguchi (President, Uwajimaya); Ben Woo (Executive Director, Preservation & Development); Ron Chew (Editor, International Examiner); Dave Okimoto (Executive Director, Asian Counseling and Referral Service); and Robert "Bob" Santos (Executive Director, INTER*IM).

Businesses and buildings in the Chinatown/International District featured in this documentary include New Gan Shan Company, Sun May, INTER*IM, Hing Hay Park, International House, Luke's Pharmacy, Dr. Henry Chin, D.D.S. Family Dentistry, community garden, North Coast Importing, Seattle Acupuncture Center, Uwajimaya, Nippon Kan Theatre, and Asian Counseling and Referral Service. There is also footage of Taoka at Seattle City Hall.

Footage includes aerial shots of Downtown Seattle and the Chinatown/International District neighborhood.
