Returnal PC - Ryzen 5 3600 vs Ryzen 7 5700X | RTX 3060 Ti - Benchmarks & Gameplay Testing

Today we’re re-testing Returnal, with the Ryzen 7 5700X, and compare it against the Ryzen 5 3600, both with the Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti.

My current PC specs:

-CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X (stock settings) with Coolermaster Hyper 212 Black RGB (w/2 fans, push-pull).
-Mobo: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC.
-GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC and WHQL driver 546.33.
-RAM: Kingston Fury Renegade RGB 32 GB (2x16 Dual Rank each), CL16 DDR4@3600 MT/s.
-Storage: PNY XLR8 CS3030 1TB NVMe (O.S.), Samsung 750 EVO 500 GB.
-Case: Fractal Design Meshify S2 (Intake: 2x140 Front, 1x120 Lower Front - Exhaust: 1x140 Rear, 1x120 Top/VRM Area).
-PSU: Corsair RMx 650W 80+ Gold.
-O.S: Windows 10 Pro 64bit (v.22H2).
-Monitor: AOC AGON AG251FG 1080p-240Hz.
-ReBAR ON (BIOS, etc.). Barely does a thing here, though (and no, doesn’t fix the slight stutter).
-HAGS OFF.
-DSR uses 33% Smoothing

This is yet another very simple comparison video for the performance gains we get by using the 5700X, over the R5 3600, nothing too special, really.

Returnal offers some very decent performance increases for the 5700X, compared to the R5 3600 but there are games where I have noticed bigger increases, so I’d say the gains are within the expected values, slightly above average from all the games I’ve tried.

The game does still suffer from very short and small stutters, though, nothing awful or distracting, compared to other games where it’s pretty bad, it does not feel bad here, at all, in my opinion but honestly I’m not sure why this game even exhibits these stutters in the first place.

All in all, the video already shows a decent amount of benchmarks and some gameplay.
