This one’s with Liam Heeley, founder of HEADS - a platform built to spotlight and support creatives across Manchester.
Three and a half years ago, Liam went through something traumatic that changed everything. HEADS was born from that experience. From a promise to make sure other creatives don’t feel manipulated, undervalued or stuck in cycles that drain them.
We spoke about starting out taking outfit pictures, building community from the ground up, why he sees Manchester as “Hollywood” (and even tattooed made in manneh on his neck), creatives getting paid properly, his highlight working with Man United PLUS his journey of throwing away the VAPE.
