Clone any hardware distortion into a plug-in.

Описание: It is very easy to clone any hardware distortion with just 2 easy steps:

1. Record a sawtooth waveform going into the distortion unit. The more linear the input sawtooth is, the better. And make sure not to have any filtering or processing other than the distortion, because the point is to isolate all the non-linearities in the output recording.

2. Drop the recording of the distorted saw into ‪@Kilohearts‬ shaper table. You can technically use any waveshaper to digitize the distortion but there are two things I like about this plug-in for this application. First, you can just drag your recording in so it is easy to convert. Second, you can load a "table" of distortion shapes similar to a wavetable oscillator - so you can capture dynamic distortion (such as the Arturia Polybrute Metalizer) in a single preset.
