Mobile Courts

This is why the European Union funds mobile courts where traveling judges adjudicate cases often involving marriage disputes and gender-based violence. In mobile courts, cases involving women are a priority, comprising almost 50% of the cases heard before these courts.

Mobile courts are temporary solution until all districts in Somalia have functioning courthouses, but without them, many women living in remote places would not get the justice they deserve.
