Eueu’s Korea Travel Vlog - Hongdae Airbnb, Express Bus Terminal, Jayeondo Salt Bread, Flat Wide Udon

We flew to KL, then transfer flight to Seoul. Reached Seoul early in the morning. It’s the first time I travel to Korea with the husband and I got to follow him through the Korean passport immigration which was very fast. Normally I went through the foreigners queue which would take a while. We went straight to our Airbnb at Hongdae which was convenient as it’s one straight line from the airport. Found our Airbnb before 9am and the host let us checked in immediately which was highly appreciated. We got to rest a bit. I went out again after a short rest (leaving the hubby behind to sleep). Went out to explore around our Airbnb which had many interesting shops and eateries. I also went to the olive young right beside the subway station to stock up on my sheet masks. Then straight to Daiso across the street. It was great that all the shops were close by! I had a wonderful shopping and getting all the stuff I wanted within the first few hours of landing! Had dinner of Seolleongtang with the husband just the evening.

Next day, I went to Express Bus Terminal to shop as I needed to get some causal house dresses for my mum. Managed to find it as well as some nice cardigans. On the way back, I decided to join the queue to buy the famous Jayeondo salt bread from the bakery outside the station. It smelled amazing! Had to buy 4 at minimal which I did and it was the lightest, fluffiest bread I ever had! Like eating clouds! Went to meet my Korean teacher for dinner and we went to a neatly Japanese eatery to have udon. I had the flat wide udon and he had chicken udon which he said was surprisingly delicious! It’s closed by to Hongdae exit 3 too. After dinner we decided to go for the delicious SmileTteokbokki at Ichon station. It’s a nondescript place with interior still looking like it’s from the 80s. But the tteokbokki waa so yummy. I’m not a big tteokbokki fan but I really like the tteokbokki here! It’s situated outside Ichon station exit 3-1.
