ஒயிலாட்டம் (Dance of grace) & முளைப்பாரி திருவிழா.. Pulvoikkarai village festival. The elders who know the oyilattam steps by each line, stand in the centre of the line and kids on the corner.. the people who dance from middle are usually the masters of oyilattam and everyone else just follow their steps. when everyone gets in sync, it is absolutely a delight to watch..:)

Oyilattam (Tamil: ஒயிலாட்டம்; meaning: dance of grace) is a folk dance with origins in the Madurai region of Tamil Nadu. It was traditionally a dance where a few men would stand in a row with two kerchiefs perform rhythmic steps to the musical accompaniment, with the number of dancers increasing;
