The final battle takes place in Bowser's Castle, and Mario and Luigi take on Bowletta--which is Cackletta's spirit inside Bowser's body--once and for all. Bowletta's easy to defeat; you can see that it took me only four Bros. attacks and some counterattacks to defeat her. After you defeat her, though, a timed Bob-omb appears behind the Bros., blows them up, and knocks them out. Bowletta proceeds to suck up the Mario Bros., but the Mario Bros. are not completely defeated yet.
Mario Bros. take on Cackletta's Soul, which is, of course, Cackletta's soul inside Bowser's body. Cackletta's Soul is difficult to fight against if you have low stats and/or if you do not know how to dodge and counter her attacks properly. Also, you must master your Bros. Attacks, or you'll have trouble defeating her as well.
You must attack Cackletta's arms, head, and finally its heart before it shrinks after two turns. Repeat the process until Cackletta is defeated. I used the annotations to point out things during the battle.
