Das Video gibt dem Gehirn die Information. Das Gehör, direkt verbunden mit dem limbischen System, löst die Emotionen aus, weckt Erinnerungen und ist die Ursache für die Ausschüttung der positiven Endorphine.

Für dieses Experiment habe ich eine möglichst umhüllende Aufnahme des Meeres erstellt. In Dolby Atmos wurde die Aufnahme mit der Frequenz des menschlichen Ruhepulses (72,5 bpm) moduliert und binauralisiert, um eine möglichst natürliche Wiedergabe über Kopfhörer, besser noch Pods, zu erreichen.

Funktioniert es bei dir auch? Lass es mich wissen, ich bin schon ganz neugierig…… ;-)

Das nächste Experiment, Red River, wird im Januar fertig. Um in Kontakt zu bleiben freue ich mich, wenn du meinen Kanal abonnierst.

@ Apple User: Bitte die 3D-Audio Emulation deiner Pods ausschalten. Dies ist eine echte 3D-Audio Aufnahme, Apples künstliche 3D-Audio Emulation zerstört die Originalaufnahme.

Youtube bietet (noch) keinen Support für Dolby Atmos an, deswegen kann ich dir im Moment nur die Kopfhörer Version hochladen.

If you like, some medical and technical background information……
The human brain gets information through the eyes, but emotions and memories are triggered by receiving audio. The reason is the direct connection between the ear and the limbic system of the brain.
For this experiment I tried to record a very immersive audio from the ocean. In Dolby Atmos the recording was modulated with the frequency of the resting heart rate (72,5 beats per minute) and binauralized to get an optimum naturally playback quality on headphones, or better pods.

Is it working ? Please let me know, Im already curious about it…….. ;-)

@ Apple users: Please switch of the spatial audio emulation of your pods! The recording was done with a real 3D microphone, an additional 3D emulation like the artificial Apple Spatial-Sound function will destroy the native sound quality.

There is no Dolby Atmos support on Youtube (yet), therefore I can only upload the headphone version for you.
