Описание: In this video, we explain several rare foreign and native fruit plants that are now growing successfully in Tamil Nadu conditions. Many people believe these varieties are only suitable for other countries, but based on our nursery experience, several of them can grow well here when maintained properly.

We show plants like Blueberry, Mamey Sapota, Ping Pong Longan, Abiu Fruit, Talkari Water Apple, Aviyar Jackfruit, and premium mango varieties such as Red Ivory, King of Chakapat, and Miyazaki.

Some of these fruits are known for their unique taste, large fruit size, or special sweetness. For example, Mamey Sapota can grow fruits weighing around 400–500 grams, while Ping Pong Longan produces fruits in clusters and is known as an all-season variety. Abiu fruit has a taste similar to tender palm fruit, and Talkari Water Apple produces large striped red fruits ideal for summer.

Most of the plants available are grafted varieties, which helps them start fruiting earlier. Depending on the variety and growing conditions, many plants can begin yielding within around 3 years.

These plants can be suitable for home gardens, terrace gardens, or land planting, depending on the variety and available space.

Based on our nursery experience, when grown with good soil, proper watering, and the right sunlight conditions, many rare fruit plants can adapt well to our climate.
