Attende Domine | Stephen Buzard (b.1989)
This organ prelude is based on the traditional plainsong Lent Prose and is inspired by 20th-century French organ music, with clear influences from music of those like Jean Langlais and Marcel Dupré. The piece builds to a jarring climax before restating the melody in a plaintive canon.
