We've recently stayed at Courtyard Amsterdam Arena Atlas. This hotel is conveniently located next to the famous Johan Cruijff Arena where many events are organised like concerts, fairs and soccer matches. The train station also nearby, so you can be in the city center within 20 mins. The hotel rooms are somewhat dated, but the breakfast and dinner is recommended.
