In this episode of the Lexus LS430 restoration project, I am rebuilding the VVT-i assembly that we removed in the previous episode with all new orings, seals, and gaskets. This should give us quite a bit more power because the VVT-i adds a good bit more horsepower.
I'll also be resealing every single gasket surface soon, so to prep for that I'm removing the lower and upper oil pans, oil pump, as well as the valve cover gaskets and spark plug tube gaskets.
