The auto-cast of Berserk targets an enemy by default. To cast it on ourselves, the enemy must have Reflect, but it won't work if the enemy is immune to Berserk, as the immunity will prevent it before Reflect is triggered. In this case, cast Confuse first, so it will be reflected onto ourselves. While confused, we can then cast Berserk directly on ourselves.
If the enemy is immune to Confusion, Tornado can be used instead. Since Tornado attempts to deal damage, Reflect will work despite the immunity to Confusion.

Added Effect can be paired with Poison (Poison), Seal (Sleep, Silence), Mystify (Confusion, Berserk), Transform (Frog, Small), Time (Slow, Stop), Destruct (Death), Contain (Confusion, Stop, Petrify), Choco/Mog (Stop), Odin (Death) and Hades (Sleep, Poison, Confusion, Silence, Frog, Small).
⌭ Equip on Weapon to get 19% chance to Inflict Status.
⌭ Equip on Armor to get Status Immunity.
The level of the paired Materia does not matter, you will gain all statuses that Materia can grant.

Flash inflicts 'Death' with a 100% chance. Its status effect chance overrides any Added Effect, meaning you will always have a 100% chance to inflict a status (unless the enemy is immune to that status).

Elemental can be paired with all Materia except Support Materia (see below).
⌭ Equip on Weapon to attack with Element.
⌭ Equip on Armor to Defend against Element (Lv1 halves / Lv2 nullifies / Lv3-Lv4 absorbs attacks).
There are other alternatives to absorb elemental damage like equipping specific armor or accessories but those are more limited.

✴ Lightning is gained from Lightning, Ramuh
✴ Earth is gained from Earth, Titan
✴ Poison is gained from Poison

✴ Holy is gained from Alexander
✴ Hidden is gained from any non-Support Materia not listed above

Absorbing an attack means:
• Damage / Cure are swapped.
• Status Infliction / Removal are swapped.
• Death / Revive are swapped. Reviving moves cause 'Death'. Death is a special status which is replaced by Recovery (HP & MP).

General Rules for Auto Mimes
The auto actions are executed in the order of the equipped Materias.
The auto mimes copy the previous trigger, if there is one, or the action performed just before the combo otherwise.
Auto mimes are performed after all other auto actions.

Quadra-Gain Glitch
If the second mime in the chain is meant to mimic a quadra action, the first will also be quadra. If it’s meant to mimic a non-quadra action, that action will gain quadra.
Since the action gains a free quadra effect, it can be applied to:
✶ KotR, Enemy Skills, and Commands, even though they are incompatible when paired directly. Note: Command Materia like Slash-All, Double Cut, Steal, Sense, Throw, Morph, Deathblow, and Manipulate will have their extra casts' animations skipped; only the first cast will be visible.
✶ Limits, which may cause animation glitches.
✶ Items, where only the first animation is visible, with the extras being skipped.

Before recording this fight, I used Lunar Curtain (MBarrier halves magical damage) and Sadness (reduces physical and magical damage by 30%) on Emerald Weapon. By reducing the damage, I was able to show all 14 casts of KotR.

Vincent received only 1 point of damage because his Defense is 255. Tifa and Cloud cast Dragon Force on him (providing 510 Def in battle), and he was wearing a Protect Ring, which grants Barrier (halves physical damage) and MBarrier statuses. Additionally, he had Sadness (reducing damage by 30%), was in the back row (halving physical damage), and used the 'Defend' command (halving physical damage).
