Germany and Belgium have refused to join a potential military strike on Iran alongside the United States and Israel.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said Germany is not a party to the conflict and will not send its military to participate. He warned that starting a war is far easier than ending one and noted that there is still no clear post-war strategy.
Meanwhile, Belgium’s Defense Minister Theo Francken stated that Belgium will not support attacks on Iran because such actions could potentially violate international law.
