Описание: There are 6 trails in Liyu Mountain, Hualien (right beside the famous tourist destination Liyu Lake). Today, I took my dog Molly to the second shortest one called Scenic Picnic Trail. It is also the most family-friendly trail among the six, with no major ups and downs as well as a well-maintained path. The trail is close to the lake, so one can have glimpses of it from time to time. We even encountered a couple of monkeys. They are Formosan rock macaque (Macaca cyclopis), a macaque endemic to Taiwan. Enjoy this short yet relaxing walk!
