The festival featured bands such as Hail The Sun, Between The Buried and Me and Head Automatica. Simian Transmission is the third single and opening track from their latest album “AXON”.

The San Antonio band of half brothers Aidan Escalante (vocals/ guitars) and Andrew Salazar (bass/ vocals) hearkens to the hyper-energized punk-prog of fellow Texans, At The Drive-In. There’s a decidedly more metallic edge (think Mastodon) to their sound, but at its heart they’ve got a really refreshing explorative melodic fury. Fans of Emo Punk, Hardcore, Thrash and Funk Metal can all get onboard the ride to Donella Drive.
