Joining two pieces of garter stitch (or moss stitch) in opposite directions, for those times when you need to attach sleeves or feel like making a log cabin blanket without picking up stitches.
Because no one else seemed to have uploaded a video of this technique beyond mentioning it as a side note, it is now coming to you in glorious iPod-camera-and-laptop-microphone quality, so there is at least a vauge reference point somewhere. Feel free to make a better video if your equipment trumps mine.
