I am an Assistant Lecturer of Psychiatry at Kasr Alainy, Cairo University. I earned my Masters in Psychiatry in 2017, then worked in the UK as a Specialist Psychiatrist for two years. Currently back in Cairo.
I don't rely solely on prescribing medications as I've been practicing psychotherapy for six years now. I'm interested in the thought processes, the complex and deep/existential ones specifically. I like to help patients understand themselves better. Using a humanistic approach I've helped clients feel less stuck in life, moved along with them towards growth, and hence have supported clients in feeling less anxious/depressed.
