Tashiding Monastery,Chortens White wash.
Tashiding monastery is the parent monastery of those following the Jhang-Ter lineage of Ningmapa sect in Sikkim and has been revered for over 8th century. Inside the premises you can see maney stone plate engryaved with Holy Buddhist mantra's.
you will find more than 50 Chortens of enlightenment which preserve the relics of Sikkim chogayal and learned Rimpochen's and Lama's.
the most famous is the Tong-wa-rang-dol. which means savior by mere sight of this chorten.
Even a slight glimpse of this Chorten is believed to cleanse mortals of all sins.
It's a must visit attraction specially during the festival of Bhumchu , Holy water vase this sacred blessings of Bhumchu joyously celebrate during the first month of Tibetan lunar calendar 14th and 15 day and is unmisable experience for all devotees.
