Segments of seven different horses having their teeth floated in a traditional manner. No sedation nor restraint was needed. A full mouth speculum and ten different floats were used to reduce high and sharp teeth. All seven returned to normal eating and working immediately after their floats. Oral exams are all done by hand thereby limiting the strain placed on the TMJ. Horsemanship and a practiced hand allow the work to proceed without fuss. Many horses actually enjoy their floating!
